Dodge is launching a new Dodge Journey Crossroad model. It...eh hem... appears to be entirely an appearance package, to make it look tougher and more SUV-like. Given consumer tastes, it will probably help sales.

My friend has the R/T, it's awful.

"Dodge introduces the Journey Crossroad. For taking journeys. Across the road"

It's stupid. There are Dodge commercials talk about cars parading around looking like SUVs when they're not, talking about "that's like a sheep in wolves' clothing. It's completely backwards" or something. Are they talking about the Journey as well? Get your shit together, Dodge.

The Journey needs to disappear, along with the Avenger

They don't fit at all with Dodge's current design

They also suck balls

Fiat buys Chrysler, rebadges the Dodge Journey as the Fiat Fremont.

Kinja'd!!!

Chrysler takes Fiat Compact platform from Alfa Romeo Giulietta, stretches it out to make the Dodge Dart, and eventually morphs it into the Jeep Cherokee.

Kinja'd!!!

It all makes sense now!

At least your friend was spared the 4 banger.

Haha yeah, that's true

She's constantly complaining about how bad it is in the snow.

I think they will both be swept out to sea soon enough. They still sell surprisingly well.

I'm guessing the AWD would do fine, but if hers is FWD, then yeah it's a fairly heavy thing and it probably sucks in the snow. The V6 probably just spins the tires endlessly.

She has the AWD, I had a discussion about this on oppo a few days ago, apparently the thing sucks in the snow. The stock tires don't help either.

Hmm, that really stinks.

Must have a lot to do with the stock RT tires, they're probably more performance oriented than foul weather oriented.

The piece-of-shit oriented, lol. Kumho Solus's.

Haha, I just googled them, and this comment came up as the second search result, too funny:

"I have the Kumho tires on my 2010 AWD Journey R/T and I cant get out of my driveway with them. We have 24,000 miles on them and they are already balding. Looking for a set of all season tires that will get me out of my driveway."

Hahaha, this is roughly how my friend would formulate her complaints about the car.
